Want to draw love into your life, spice up what you already have or pay homage to the love of your life?
In this two-part hands-on workshop, award winning artist Rebecca deVries will guide you as you create your own love shrine - book of spells, book of secrets. Using various mixed media collage techniques, each book will be unique and personal for your specific intent. Kris of Dark Moon Tarot will assist you in crafting your own love potion and love spell to place in your shrine. Everyone will leave the workshop feeling empowered with hearts open to receiving love! Wine will be served and light nibbles.
Cost of class includes all materials, but feel free to bring items you would like include in your shrine. Small antique books (like the one used in the sample photo) will be provided, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own book to use and paper collage elements. This could include love letters, photographs, etc. **Please note that scissors, glue and mat knives are provided but are for shared use. It is encouraged that you bring your own if you do not want to have to wait for their use during the workshop.
We will try to finish the book during class time, however you may not be able to work this quickly during the allotted time. This is a project that can be easily completed at home should this occur.
