Mixing Magick with Art!
Spell bottles, witch bottles, and affirmation bottles have been used for centuries to manifest a certain outcome. Much like writing a love note, placing it in a bottle and tossing it in the sea!
MIXED MEDIA
Becky deVries, award winning mixed media artist, will instruct you on various mixed media techniques to help you create your "Moon Manifestation Bottle". Each Moon Manifestation Bottle will be unique and created using various found objects, antique pieces, and items of personal significance: photos, loved ones jewelry, items that signify habits you'd like to break, antique pieces, etc...
MOON MAGICK
When we send out our intentions, the moon phases have a strong connection to the outcome, such as career changes, starting relationships, pregnany, finances, planning celebrations, letting go of a relationship or breaking a bad habit. After you create your bottle, Kris, psychic of Dark Moon Salem, will teach you about moon magick and assist you in creating a manifestation to place inside your bottle. Additionally, you will receive personalized guidance on which moon phase would work best to achieve the outcome you seek from your Moon Manifestation Bottle.
Please bring a bottle of your choice preferably antique and any personal items of significance that symbolize your intention you wish to seek. Some bottles (found on Salem's shores) will be available for sale. Paper items such as book pages & collage items will be provided. Once you have signed up for the class a list of ideas and places to find items to use within your bottle and will be provided.
Not to worry if you do know where to start, mixed magickal grab bags with various items will be for a small fee. Antique & junk shops are great places to find various items.
Wine and light nibbles will be served.
This workshop will be an intimate class limited to 10 people.
