Join local award-winning artist, Rebecca deVries, in an art workshop that investigates the experience of loss & grief through contemporary adaptations of Memento Mori in collage.
Each participant will leave with a personal art card of their own creation, to be framed in remembrance or used within your own shrine or altar. No previous art experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided.
It is encouraged that you bring personal items to incorporate into your piece (such as letters, photos, etc.) that commemorate your special loved one.
Kris of Dark Moon Salem will close the workshop with a circle to honor our loved ones who have passed.
You will leave enlightened after creating through grief and loss.
